  1.  Where can I access the WIN Career Readiness System Portal?
All users will now access the new WIN Career Readiness System through a single sign-on portal at www.wincrsystem.com.
  2.  How do I get a username and password?
All users - learners, facilitators, administrators - will be issued a new username when enrolled in the new system. The username is now your email address. All users are assigned a password. If you wish to change your password, choose the Profile button at the top of the page. As you enroll users, you can also enter a password for the user. Your site administrator can enroll you into the system and provide username and password information.
  3.  Why is an email address now required?
The email address provides a globally unique identifier.
  4.  What if I enroll a learner who does not have an email address or is unwilling to provide an email?
If an email address is not provided, the system will generate an email associated with the WIN Career Readiness System. The option to edit the user name (email address) exists within the courseware system for all active users, allowing the email address to be changed at any time.
  5.  As a teacher or program administrator, am I able to view all learner passwords?
Your user management function will allow you to see all learners associated with your assigned role in your custom portal site. You will see the list of names (first and last) and the user names (email addresses). If a user forgets their password, the portal provides a link for instantly resetting the password. You can also look up a password once learners log in and change their initial temporary password.
  6.  What course titles will be provided to me on the portal? Will I get the full suite of courses associated with the Career Readiness System?
Your courseware selection will be based on your contracted license with WIN Learning. Of course, you may add products that are not currently part of your license to your custom portal at any time by contacting your Regional Account Manager or WIN Learning Sales at 888-717-9461 Option 1 or sales@winlearning.com.
  7.  What kind of data access will administrators/facilitators have for the portal?
Administrators/facilitators will have access to information and courseware functionality within and below their hierarchical level. So as an account level administrator, access is broad; but as it drops to a school or classroom level, information is filtered to those with designated acess (based on the roles you've identified and the individuals you've enrolled).
  8.  After initial enrollment, will I be able to add new learners and facilitators?
Yes, new learners, facilitators, and administrators can be added at any time. There is a single user option and a batch enroll option that you can access at any time.
  9.  Will I be able to change a learner's status from active to inactive?
Yes, all administrators and facilitators can deactivate and reactivate learners as needed.
  10.  Will learners be able to earn certificates as they complete levels within the various courses?
Certificates can be earned and printed from within the portal, and learners can gain ebadges as they complete identified instructional benchmarks within all course titles. The ebadges automatically populate to the learner dashboard on the portal as they are earned.
  11.  What kind of reports can I see in the Portal?
The WIN Career Readiness System features a dynamic reporting tool. Authorized users will be able to select, sort and view user information and learner activity by class/program, date range and other parameters. Reporting will be consolidated and accessible at the portal level, not the product level. Refer to the How-To Videos about Reports to gain more information.
  12.  Are there supplemental instructional tools that can be accessed on the portal?
Yes, under the “Resources” link on the portal dashboard or home page, you will be able to link to WIN Resource Center, a comprehensive online library of implementation and professional development resources. Here, you’ll be able to view recorded webinars, download printable learner worksheets and instructional models to replicate in your classroom or program.
